Letterim ("we", "us") builds personalized parenting maps from birth-data you provide about a child. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it. If anything is unclear, email hello@letterim.com and a real person will answer.

1. Data we collect

• Child birth data — first name (or nickname), date of birth, optional time of birth, place of birth. Used solely to generate the map you ordered.
• Parent contact — email address, and optionally first name — used to deliver the map, send order-related emails, and answer support.
• Order data — the products you purchased, the total charged, payment status, refund status. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; Letterim never sees the card number.
• Usage data — pages viewed on our site, aggregated to measure product quality (see §4).

2. How we use it

• To generate the map (the child's birth data is fed into our interpretation library).
• To deliver the map + related order emails (via our email provider).
• To answer your support requests.
• To improve the product (aggregated, non-identifying analytics only).

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not send your child's birth data to advertising platforms (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics Ads, TikTok, etc.).
• We do not use your child's data to train external AI models.

4. Analytics + advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to measure how our site performs. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, these are only loaded after you consent (see Cookie settings). Data sent to these tools never includes your child's name, date/time/place of birth, or any URL parameter containing that data.

5. Data location + retention

Your data lives in secure infrastructure operated by Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and our email provider. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@letterim.com.

6. Your rights

If you live in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@letterim.com.

7. Children under 13

Letterim is a tool for parents. Children under 13 do not have accounts, do not enter their own data, and are not marketed to. The child's birth details are provided by the purchasing parent.
